Shop Promo.jpg

It's been a little quite around here as I've been creating a few items for a shop launching next week. I'm looking forward to revealing some handmade, lettered paper goods and the results of some lovely printing with Nightingale Handmade.

Since lettering a piece with these words for the shop, they've been running through my head (and I've never been one to resist some poetic beauty from E.E. Cummings):

"You are my sun, my moon, and all of my stars."

Eye-Catching

Fall Color

Muted palettes, deep florals, and the effortless lines of brush lettering have been capturing my attention lately, and these remind me of fall, though I'm reluctant for summer to end. As much as I love the cozy textiles and rituals that autumn inevitably brings, I'm savoring the last weeks of summer freedom: these long days with loved ones, the warmth of the sun, freshly picked berries, and wide open widows.

Hello, sun in my face. Hello you who made the morning and spread it over the fields...Watch, now, how I start the day in happiness, in kindness.

Mary Oliver

I leave you with my inspirations as of late and these words from Mary Oliver.
